Since its establishment, on the 15th of July 1991,  WATERJET s.r.l. has continued growing and gaining world-wide success by solely focusing its business on machineries that exploit  the high-pressure water-jet principle.

In 1997 the presently used main plant and office building in Monza is bought with a view to grouping and handling from there all activities related to our  activity: designing, manufacturing, researching, sales and assistance.
  
In 2000 the Company WATERSTONE s.r.l. is set up and a second manufacturing plant is opened  to produce the  newly developed  water-texturing machines (WaterStone™ and BrushStone™), as well as  the waterjet cutting machines for quarries (QuarryJet™) and for underground tunnelling (EdilJet™).
  
In 2001, a new research and development area is created with the establishment of the company WATERPROJECT s.r.l . in a third building, that causes manufacturing capacity to increase by 50%.
    
In 2002 the  WATERJET CORPORATION trade mark is used to embody all the group's companies and technologies under one name.
    
In 2004 a global development phase sets out  with the target of opening new branches abroad and enhancing market penetration and customer support in different continents.
    
So, on the 15th of March 2004, Waterjet Middle East FZCO is established in Jebel Ali- U.A.E., to support all areas in the Middle East with spare parts and assistance.
    
On March 1st 2005,  as a result of improving internal procedures in abidance by international quality standards,   WATERJET s.r.l. obtains the standard ISO 9001-2000 Quality Certification. 
   
On December 16th 2005,   Waterjet U.S.A. L.L.C. starts its activity in Amityville – NY – U.S.A., to cover all of the North American markets.
    
On May 25th 2006,  Waterjet Arabia Ltd. opens in Riyadh to cover the Saudi Arabia region.
    
On April 7th 2006 MC Machinery System Inc. (a branch of Mitsubishi Corporation) signs with WATERJET CORPORATION  an exclusive agreement to import our high pressure waterjet cutting machines into the whole of North American markets, thus creating a synergy between WATERJET’s technological expertise and Mitsubishi’s US strong distribution and after-sales support network. 
 
On July 20th 2006  a new Indian branch is set up for launching too, under the name of Waterjet Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Chennai with a sales office.
