1991 - WATERJET CORPORATION: THE BEGINNING
Waterjet Corporation has been manufacturing and selling technologically advanced machines and systems for high-pressure waterjet cutting and finishing. 

The company headquarters is located in Monza, Italy, one of Italy’s outstanding manufacturing districts always geared to the innovation and the pursuit of top-quality performance.

EXPANSION & CONSOLIDATION
Since its early years of business, Waterjet has been operating to strengthen its assets, acquiring three buildings to meet its need to expand its:

  • Assembly Area,
  • Showroom Area,
  • Research & Development area.
The course set by the company’s management aims to build a structured business.

That's how Waterjet Corporation established itself as one of the most influential players on the market of water jet cutting and finishing systems. 

The company is committed to create technologically advanced custom solutions using only high-quality, reliable components that can ensure very high standards in terms of processing accuracy.


2004 - 
INTERNATIONALIZATION

Waterjet’s ambitious business plan originates from the company’s strategic and marketing planning:

in 2004, it begun an internationalisation process focused on the expansion and consolidation of Waterjet’s presence on leading international markets.

Thanks to exclusive distribution agreements and new exclusive foreign dealerships for direct sales opened in the USA (Geneva, IL) and in the UAE (Dubai) Waterjet can now ensure an excellent widespread sales force along with timely technical support for its machines, both remotely and on site.

From 1991 up until now, Waterjet has sold and installed over than 1500 systems across 60 countries

2016 - 
BTOB AWARD
Thanks to its commercial success, in 2016 Waterjet received the BTOB award, the highest recognition for the business community in Lombardy: awarded the first prize in the “Internationalisation” category among the best manufacturing companies of the area.

Waterjet’s success on the international market of waterjet cutting and finishing systems lies in the constant drive to pursue top quality standards: the in-house design team designs and develops all the innovative applications and high-tech solutions, which are then patented and implemented on the machines.
Waterjet certifies its high-quality standards through checks, testing and commissioning procedures in compliance with the latest ISO 9001-2015 standard regulations.

2020 
> TODAY - 
ENERGY SAVING PUMPS
With an innovative and environmentally friendly approach, the Waterjet Research and Development Area develops its own high efficiency and energy saving intensifier servo pumps which are launched on the market in November 2020 following the filing of the patent:

  • two hybrid pumps: SERVODRIVE 4,150 Bar (60 KPSI) and HYPERDRIVE 6,500 Bar (95 KPSI), 
  • a 100% electric pump: E-DRIVE 4,200 Bar (62 KPSI).
Following customer requests, in 2021, a new fully electric high-pressure pump was developed: the E-DRIVE PRO 6,000 Bar (87 KPSI).

As a sign of transparency, Waterjet asks the TÜV to test the consumption of its pumps by obtaining the certification 
MACHINERY FOR FOOD INDUSTRY
Waterjet enters in the food industry with CHEF-JET series machines, designed for pastry and in-line cutting of vegetables, fruit, fish and meat.
THE NEW PRODUCTION CENTER
In 2022, multiple requests from all over the globe require a second expansion, therefore Waterjet decides to invest in the construction of a new production center, doubling its production capacity.
