WATERJET WORK PHILOSOPHY

" IT IS EASY AS DRINKING A GLASS OF WATER "
The idea to work with a supersonic high pressure water jet aims to utilized the elements that nature offers respecting it at the same time (ECOLOGICAL SYSTEM). Water the most common natural resource and source of life, it is key to work in the modern context . A water jet pushed from an intensifier pump it is able to increase its pressure up to 6.000 Bar (87.000 PSI) to accumulate energy that can be used as a work tool.
The water jet philosophy can be summarized in two key points:
HIGH PRESSURE and LOW RANGE (Waterjet , QuarryJet ™ , EdilJet ™ )
LOW PRESSURE and HIGH RANGE (WaterStone ™ )
which depending on the settings of the ejecting nozzle size and on the synchronized movement system, may produce different results.
In case of “Waterjet” application, the water jet can be used as a cutting tool for soft materials or as texturing's one for all stone materials “WaterStone ™”
If mixed with the Garnet abrasive, the supersonic water jet is just the transmission vehicle for this tool, which is ejected with the kinetic energy needed to generate a perfect cut on all different materials.

During usage in a quarry to create blocks or underground tunnels, the water jet becomes a “breaking erosion” tool able to open section on all different stone surfaces.

How the Waterjet technology works

The intensifier pump pushes a water jet at very high pressure in the self-aligning cutting head moved by CNC control system. The water, ejected through a gauged orifice a four times the speed of sound, mixed with abrasive to cut any shape and materials up to a general maximum thickness of 300 mm. (9”)
The Waterjet technology is the most various and easy to operate manufacturing process: and it is easy to use: further handling are not needed, it doesn't produce mechanical and thermal deformation, it allows and high optimization level through a 1 mm. (0,040”) gauged jet. It has no limit in terms of material type and size (up to 300 mm (7”) using abrasive or just by water). It is really easy to use because the same tools and the same conditions can be used with the majority of materials. All of the above allow reduction of manufacturing time and costs in every sector, also thanks to the WaterCad-Cam ™ software, that provides with a simple click a customized work plan for any material and thickness.

How the WaterStone™ technology works

The intensifier pump pushes a water jet at ultra-high pressure into a nozzle supervised by a PLC:   water ejected through a gauged orifice, located into a rotating body, allows to process superficially all stone material generating an accelerated erosion.

The WaterStone™   technology is the most ecological and easy to operate surfaces texturing process: further processing is not needed and it doesn 't produce mechanical and thermal deformation. It is really easy to operate because the same tools and the same conditions can be used with the majority of materials. All of the above allows reduction of manufacturing time and costs in every sector, also thanks to the PLC database, that provides with a simple click a customized work plan for any material and thickness.      


Four important elements define the degree of roughness:

  • Working Pressure
  • Height of nozzle
  • Working trolley and nozzle speed
The perfect combination of these four parameters will create all the different textures on the surface of the stone with different results for different materials

How the BrushStone™ works

BrustoneThe BrushStone™ technology allows the execution of various processing types, depending on the type of tool and the number of brushing or polishing heads (4 maximum).

It can be utilized sequentially before or after other surface processing like the water texturing WaterStone™ or the traditional flaming system

How the QuarryJet™ technology works

The QuarryJet ™ technology permits to cut the quarry by an high pressure water jet system (4.130 Bar – 60.000 PSI) that ejected through a gauged orifice at 3 Mach, can realize by a Patent device 6 cm (2”) with cut by 7 mt (23') horizontal and vertical depth: the system is developed also to work inside galleries .

The EdilJet ™ technology permits to realize square galleries and underground tunnel by an high pressure water jet cutting system (4.130 Bar – 60.000 PSI) that ejected through a gauged orifice at 3 Mach, can realize by a Patent device, 6 cm (2”) with cut by 7 mt (23') progressive horizontal and vertical depth, with 5mt height in order to remove the stone materials by blocks to be used for other purposes.
