We offer an Hybrid Waterjet Servopump designed to reduce energy consumption during the manufacturing process. Build using sustainable components and an efficient process controller the machine is able to reduce the energy usage during production shifts.
The Hybrid all Electric Pump only runs whilst actually cutting and when running uses less power than a conventional Hydraulic Intensifier Pump.

This is a pratical comparison between a Hybrid all Electric Servodrive pump and a traditional intensifier hydraulic pump:
SERVODRIVETM : 27 kW X 8 hours = 216 kWh
TRADITIONAL HYDRAULIC PUMP: 37 kW X 8 hours = 296 kWh
The calculation shows a saving of 10 kW during the work cycle, there is a further 4 kW as approximately 10% of the power used is saved when the pump is off with the cutting head closed: the total saving is then 14 kW per hour over the Hydraulic Intensifier pump.
The final annual saving is easily calculated as shown below:
