SERVODRIVETM : 27 kW X 8 hours = 216 kWh
TRADITIONAL HYDRAULIC PUMP: 37 kW X 8 hours = 296 kWh
The calculation shows a saving of 10 kW during the work cycle, there is a further 4 kW as approximately 10% of the power used is saved when the pump is off with the cutting head closed: the total saving is then 14 kW per hour over the Hydraulic Intensifier pump.
